The way we collect PMD waste has changed

The way we collect Plastic-, Metal- and Drink carton (PMD) waste has changed. Since April 1st, the curb side collection of Plastic-, Metal- and Drink carton waste in bags stopped. Instead, the way to dispose of PMD is to put it in your residual waste container. After collection, the PMD will be sorted in a materials recovery facility. The recovered materials can be recycled and used in new products.

What does this mean for you?

From April 1st  you can put the PMD waste in your residual waste container. Please continue to separate organic waste, glass, paper, textile and chemical waste, because they can’t be mechanically separated.
